  2. Attend a Volunteer Workday
We’ll pair you with experienced members and provide guidance. No experience necessary!

🌾 Volunteer Spotlight: The Farmer’s Market Team

Our annual Farmers Market is a beloved charity event that raises funds for Meals on Wheels. It takes over 30 volunteers to make it happen, and every hand counts!

Here’s how it comes together:

  • March: Gardeners receive starter plants to grow extra produce for the market
  • June: Volunteers prepare planters filled with succulents, herbs, and flowers for sale
  • The Day Before: We harvest produce, cut flowers, and create beautiful bouquets
  • Event Day at Sunrise: Final harvesting begins, herbs are packaged, stands are set up, and fresh greens are gathered for sale

Every task is meaningful, and every volunteer helps nourish our community—literally and figuratively.
